General Ledger Manager

We’re looking for a General Ledger (GL) Manager with strong technical accounting skills, sound judgment, and a clear sense of ownership. You’ll work with experienced finance and legal professionals and help run accurate, compliant, and scalable accounting processes for our Serbian entity. Key responsibilities: Run the accounting function and bookkeeping processes, including both in-house work and outsourced providers. Own period closing activities. Work with the GL specialist to ensure correct entries, including bank reconciliations and other key controls. Monitor and analyze accounting data and prepare statutory financial reports and statements in line with local regulations. Ensure correct use of accounting methods, policies, and principles. Support annual audits and work with the external accounting firm to keep external and internal ledgers aligned. Reconcile VAT reports, SEF invoices, and related tax entries, including benefit-in-kind reporting. Work with the Payroll, Tax, HR, FP&A, Controlling, and international GL teams to keep processes consistent. Provide relevant recommendations to local and group stakeholders on topics
