We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Language Expert – Urdu (Pakistan) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong linguistic background, expertise in the Urdu-Pakistan language, and the ability to lead projects with a focus on quality and efficiency. The Language expert will oversee linguistic tasks, manage quality assurance, and provide mentorship to linguists while ensuring the delivery of high-quality language services. The applicant should be native Pakistani National who understands the Language in-depth, knows the cultural nuances of the language and have excellent command over English-US, both verbal and written. Responsibility Here is a non-exhaustive list of main tasks for this role: Linguistic tasks : Perform LQA reviews , adhering to quality guidelines and production timelines. Handle arbitrations and drive linguistic consensus for optimal results. Perform glossary and TM updates within Smartling environment, following the guidelines provided by the quality team. Handle Client review (from non-linguists) feedback exchange and implementation. Process linguistic feedback from QA testing and implement changes as needed.
