Intensive Outpatient Services Clinicians are licensed behavioral health professionals responsible for managing a clinical caseload, facilitating therapy groups, and developing comprehensive treatment and discharge plans within Salma Healthโs Intensive Outpatient Programs. In this role, clinicians ensure that every patient receives continuous, individualized care. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, the IOP Clinician drives patient engagement and care coordination to support successful clinical outcomes, program compliance, and patient retention throughout the treatment journey. Location Remote in California Key Responsibilities - Patient Engagement & Orientation: Conduct IOP orientations for new patients, introducing program structure, expectations, and resources. Use motivational interviewing and psychoeducation to enhance retention, reduce early drop-out, and sustain engagement. - Care Coordination & Discharge Planning: Lead discharge planning beginning at admission, ensuring linkage to outpatient providers, community resources, and payor-approved step-down services.
