Software Engineer - Infrastructure

OVERVIEW This position can be based out of San Francisco, New York, or remote (we accept candidates from the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, IL, MA, MI, MN, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI). Modern Treasury is expanding deeper into money movement. We’re building new products that will let customers move funds across both traditional rails and emerging technologies, including stablecoins. You’ll help design, deploy and operate the infrastructure that makes this possible. This is a hands-on devops role with strong ownership over infrastructure architecture and platform automation. ABOUT THE ROLE This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, platform engineering and security. You’ll define how Modern Treasury scales and operates our infrastructure, and guide teams toward cohesive architectural patterns. You will set direction and build for infrastructure systems that support: - Multi-rail money movement - Real-time payment flows - Ledger-backed transaction processing - High-availability payment orchestration This is a senior individual contributor role with broad influence across Product, Platform, and Infrastructure teams.
