Head of Web Ecosystem

As Head of the Web Ecosystem, you will own the mid- and long-term strategy for JetBrains products for JavaScript and TypeScript developers. This role focuses on aligning product direction, go-to-market efforts, and external partnerships with the rapidly evolving web development ecosystem. You will translate ecosystem signals – from frameworks and tooling to community practices – into clear strategic priorities for JetBrains products. You will work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, and developer advocacy teams, and represent JetBrains in the broader web developer community. Core responsibilities Set the strategy and direction for JetBrains products for web developers. Start new product directions when important niches are not addressed. Define the work for product management, marketing, developer advocacy, and partnerships in the web ecosystem, and keep everyone working toward one plan. Track important changes and trends in the web community (frameworks, tooling, major releases, new workflows). Build and maintain relationships with key people in the web ecosystem (companies, open-source projects, community leaders). Work with engineering and QA leads to set priorities and plan work.
