About Hightouch
Hightouch is an Agentic Marketing Platform powered by the industry-leading Composable CDP. With complete brand context, customer data, and performance history in one place, every marketer finally has the power to build and ship end-to-end campaigns themselves. Teams move faster, stay on brand, and get AI marketing that actually works.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Francisco, Hightouch enables marketing teams to analyze performance, brainstorm ideas, and generate creative at a speed and quality that wasn't previously possible.
Named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Customer Data Platforms, Hightouch is trusted by leading enterprises like Domino's, Spotify, Aritzia, Cars.com, Ramp, and PetSmart.
At Hightouch, our mission is to help our customers leverage data and AI to grow their businesses. The team is ambitious, impact-driven, efficient — and we believe humility, kindness, and compassion are essential to our success. If you're energized by velocity, obsessed with raising the bar, and want to build alongside people who care deeply about each other and our customers, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
This role is for someone who wants to own the technical win on a product that is still writing its playbook. You will pair your deep marketing expertise with innate sales acumen to navigate complex buying processes.
Ad Studio is one of our newest products. It lets performance marketing teams build, edit, and launch on-brand ads at scale using AI agents, all backed by first-party data, brand guidelines, and their existing creative stack. Ad platforms reward creative volume, variety, and freshness, and no manual production process can keep up. Ad Studio takes teams from insight to idea to launch in minutes instead of weeks. Otrium cut campaign execution time by 70% and saw a 15% lift in conversions.
As the founding Solutions Engineer for Ad Studio, you will be the technical counterpart to our founding Ad Studio Account Executives and Sales Leader. You will run the full technical sales motion across discovery, solutioning, and validation. This sales motion is evolving rapidly and we have a Forward Deployed made up of creative directors and performance marketing practitioners to support pilots and hands-on workshops.
The buyers you will work with are performance marketers, paid social and paid search leads, creative strategists, growth teams, and the creative and brand stakeholders who have to sign off on ad creative. They are fighting creative fatigue, slow production cycles, and rising CPMs, and they are skeptical that AI-generated creative can meet their brand bar. Your job is to show them it can, and to be credible with both the media buyer optimizing ROAS and the creatives protecting the brand.
These are consultative deals where you are not just demoing a tool. You are helping teams rethink how they produce and launch creative. If you have worked in adtech, martech, or creative tooling, or sold to performance marketing buyers before, you know exactly what keeps them up at night and you will hit the ground running.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discovery across the full creative supply chain: how a customer briefs, produces, localizes, resizes, approves, and launches creative today, where their brand assets and product catalog live, and which ad platforms and performance data matter most; and translate that into differentiated requirements and a compelling solution design.
- Design and deliver tailored demonstrations that show real, on-brand, concepts generated from their assets and guidelines, workflow and editing in the platform and via integrations, and ad publishing.
- Co-own pilots end to end: scope success criteria with the buyer, connect brand assets, DAMs, Figma, product catalogs, ad platforms, and warehouse data, generate real campaign-ready output, and validate results against the metrics the customer already reports on.
- Earn credibility with creative and brand stakeholders on quality, control, and governance, and with data and marketing ops teams on integrations, data access, and security review.
- Be the field's feedback loop to Product and Engineering, translating patterns from live deals into prioritized product input on a product that is shipping fast. Enable the broader Hightouch sales and SE teams on Ad Studio as the product expands beyond the founding team, and support Ad Studio opportunities in core Composable CDP and Agentic Marketing Platform cycles.
What Success Looks Like
Quickly build Ad Studio expertise, moving from foundational product, use case, and demo fluency in the first month to independently closing deals within three months. Build the founding Ad Studio technical playbook in collaboration with the Forward Deployed team as we scale the team.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, solutions consulting, or technical account management experience, including running discovery, demos, and hands-on evaluations in full-cycle deals.
- Direct experience in adtech, martech, or creative tooling, or selling to performance marketing buyers. You understand paid social and paid search workflows, creative testing and fatigue, and how platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok reward creative volume, variety, and freshness.
- Fluency with the creative production workflow and the systems behind it - Figma, DAMs, brand guidelines, product catalogs, asset resizing and localization - and the ability to talk credibly with designers and creative strategists about quality and control, not just speed.
- Ability to speak the language of performance marketing: CPM, CTR, CVR, ROAS, incrementality, and how creative decisions move those numbers.
- Excitement about being part of a founding team, with comfort building a motion from scratch and operating in ambiguity. You are not inheriting a playbook, you are writing it.
Bonus
- Genuine interest in AI and agentic workflows paired with intellectual curiosity, high ambition, and ownership.
- Design, creative ops, or in-house agency background, either as a practitioner or working closely with those teams.
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Command the Message, or equivalent value-selling frameworks.
- Experience launching a new product or category, or working at a high-growth B2B SaaS company scaling through a significant inflection point.
Why Hightouch
We are building something that has the potential to redefine how companies use data to drive marketing outcomes. Beyond the market position and the customer list, what makes this team worth joining is the culture and values. Two core values exemplify how this team operates:
Forever Hungry — We are ambitious and we celebrate wins, but we are never fully satisfied. We are always looking for ways to push further, move faster, and do more for our customers and each other.
Raising the Bar — We have high expectations for performance and believe in having exceptional talent in every position. We look deeper than credentials, prioritize trajectory over pedigree, and invest in people who make everyone around them better.
As a SE at Hightouch, you will have the autonomy to shape your territory, the product complexity to do technically meaningful work, and a team around you that makes it worth showing up for.
