Role brief
What this role is asking for.
The role / impact You will lead the strategic narrative for Xero's two most critical audiences: Small Businesses and Accountants & Bookkeepers. In this twelve-month maternity cover role, you will be the primary architect of how Xero communicates its holistic platform value. Your work ensures our messaging shifts from a list of features to a benefit-led solution that connects and converts customers throughout their lifecycle. You will lead and mentor a team of two Product Marketers, acting as the ultimate internal champion for these segments. Beyond segment ownership, you will act as a strategic craft lead for the broader Product Marketing organisation. You will be responsible for upleveling collective expertise in positioning, messaging, and differentiation, ensuring everyone is equipped with the latest research and best practices to keep Xero at the forefront of the market. The team / how they connect The Global Product Marketing team bridges the gap between global strategy and regional execution across key markets including Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. We work collaboratively with sales, product, and regional marketing squads to ensure alignment and adoption of our core messaging and tools.
