About us Pomelo Care is the leading virtual medical practice for women and children, providing care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We’re building a network of experienced birth and full-spectrum doulas to educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employment (W-2) position. As an independent contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, paid time off, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits. Pomelo Care will provide services to support your independent practice, such as client matching, billing, and administrative support.
