About the Role: We are looking for a sales consultant to join the growing Professional Services team at Kong. As a PS Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for pursuing, positioning, and selling Kong Professional Services' consulting expertise and service packages to prospective and existing customers. The PS Sales Consultant will partner closely with sales account teams to position platform installation & configuration, resident engineer, and education services that will enable Kong customers to gain the maximum value from their subscription investment. The successful candidate understands the value proposition of Kong platform products and consulting services and can quantify this benefit to its prospects and customers. The PS Consultant hunts for opportunities, builds pipeline, collaborates with Account Executives during sales meetings, writes service proposals, manages quotations, gains appropriate approvals, and presents those proposals to prospective and existing customers.
