English Composition Instructor

About the Role Campus is seeking experienced, mission-driven, student-centered English Composition instructors to deliver high-impact, online courses as part of our many programs. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about student success, thrive in virtual environments, and are excited to work at the intersection of academic excellence and educational innovation. You’ll join a growing network of faculty dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences for students from all backgrounds, particularly those historically underserved by higher education. What You’ll Teach - English Composition - Advanced Composition Academic Responsibilities and Essential Functions - Teach 11-week live, online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies. - Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes active learning and student participation. - Provide timely, constructive feedback and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours. - Host weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community. - Work with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course, including mentoring the TA on effective grading and student engagement practices. - Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and submit mid quarter and end of quarter evaluations. - Collaborate with peers and Campus staff to share best practices and continuously improve in...
