What this role is asking for.
Mid-Level Accountants shall perform detailed financial analysis, reconciliation, and review support under general supervision. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or cost accounting, and 3+ years of relevant federal experience. - Experience supporting government financial & accounting evaluations, with a strong preference experience in indirect cost rate reviews, cost allocation plans, or similar financial evaluations. - Knowledge of basic Federal cost principles and familiarity with 2 CFR Part 200. - Experience reconciling financial data & analysis/review of audited financial statements. - Ability to prepare clear and accurate supporting documentation. General Requirements - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. - Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. - Experience supporting cost and financial transparency & maintaining documentation sufficient for Federal review. - Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance/credentials required to perform the job.
