What this role is asking for.
Junior Accountants shall provide analytical and administrative support for reviews, reconciliations, and documentation. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. - Minimum of 1 year and up to 9 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. - Familiarity with Federal cost principles or willingness to learn 2 CFR Part 200 requirements. - Ability to perform data analysis, reconciliations, and documentation support with attention to detail. - Strong organizational and communication skills. General Requirements - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. - Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. - Experience supporting cost and financial transparency & maintaining documentation sufficient for Federal review. - Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance/credentials required to perform the job.
