Vice President, Payer Contracting (Commercial)

The Vice President, Payer Contracting leads the strategy, negotiation, and execution of Aledade’s Commercial value-based care contracts with national and regional health plans and other purchasers serving commercially insured members. This role also supports securing health plan network participation agreements between Aledade and health plans. We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or be based from Bethesda, MD office. Primary Duties: Commercial Performance Oversee the Commercial segment within the Strategic Payer Partnerships team ensuring performance goals and objectives are met. Lead the evaluation of prospective health plan partnerships, including negotiating terms and evaluating, editing and recommending approval of value-based care contracts for Commercial members/patients Qualify and source market growth and expansion for multi-year risk arrangements Strategy & Relationship Management Collaborate with Executive Leadership to shape Aledade's strategy for value-based contracting on behalf of independent primary care practices Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including both internal and external Leadership & Execution Lead, direct, and evaluate a team of senior leaders ranging from Manager to Sr. Director.
