This is a platform infrastructure role first: you will design and evolve the core infrastructure, deployment foundations, and platform patterns that make GovCloud behave more like a thin extension of our commercial platform, with less drift and stronger operational leverage over time. As the first engineer focused on Federal Platform, you will help define the charter for the team, provide mentorship and guidance on platform-oriented topics in the GovCloud environment, and build the paved roads that make Federal Operations and application teams more self-sufficient as we scale the federal business. What you will do Lead the build-out and evolution of Abnormal’s FedRAMP High cloud infrastructure, translating security and compliance requirements into reliable, auditable AWS implementations for the GovCloud environment.
