Director of Accounting

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of Accounting to lead our accounting function during an exciting period of growth and transformation. The ideal candidate will be skilled in process improvement, leveraging technology, and evolving scalable accounting operations that support business growth. Primary Responsibilities Accounting Operations Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and a goal of achieving a five-business-day close. Oversee the general ledger, account reconciliations, accounts receivable, payroll, financial controls, audits, lender reporting, and compliance with US GAAP. Monitor balance sheet health, including receivables aging, accruals, prepaid balances, and reconciliation status; maintain a real-time view of working capital position Drive continuous improvement by standardizing accounting processes, strengthening internal controls, and identifying automation opportunities.
