About The Opportunity Hi, I'm Oussama, the Engineering Manager at N26, and I am looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Investments team here at N26. Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD): Every six weeks, take two days of dedicated innovation time to explore new tech stacks, fix nagging bugs, or prototype outside the roadmap. In This Role, You Will: Write high-quality, performant code (primarily Kotlin) and navigate the codebase fluently. Handle deployment, bug fixing, and incident handling with a high level of independence, taking features from concept to production. Act as a sparring partner for Product Managers during Product Discovery, ensuring technical decisions support the user experience. Question the status quo by asking "why are we building this?" and "is there a simpler way?" Identify knowledge gaps and technical problems, taking active ownership to address them without waiting to be told. Share your learnings
