ABOUT THE TEAM At Mural, we’re building a new layer of collaboration, one where people and intelligent systems work together in real time. The Design and Research team turns complexity into clarity, shaping how humans and AI co-create, collaborate, and reason inside a shared visual canvas. We work across product, engineering, and research to define how agentic systems show up in real workflows to enhance human collaboration and to make work better. YOUR MISSION You’ll define AI-native features and think at the platform level about how AI agents operate within Mural’s platform. You’ll design systems where users and agents collaborate on a data-connected, visual canvas, moving from ideas to structured outcomes with shared context. This is not about bolting on AI features. It’s about designing behaviors, orchestration, and interaction models for agents that think, act, and adapt to the needs of teams large and small. You’ll work across levels, from platform primitives to high-fidelity interactions, shaping how agents understand intent, access data, and participate in collaborative workflows. You’ll help define new interaction patterns where control, transparency, and autonomy stay in balance.
