People Business Partner - EU / UK

As Marqeta’s People Business Partner (PBP) - EU/UK, you support Marqeta’s teams in the European region to help build strong regional cultures, navigate day-to-day employee situations, and help build the overall Marqetan experience. You serve as our European People Business Partner, supporting our operations across the UK, Gibraltar, Malta, and Poland. You also act as the primary People Business Partner for our GTM UK team, and the EU/UK region. You work cross-functionally to support employees, leaders, and our offices to ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural nuances across multiple European markets. You collaborate closely with US-based People Business Partners who are functionally aligned to our global C-level leaders, ensuring that our European teams align with our global strategy while also having dedicated local support. This role reports to the Head of Global People Business Partners. PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role and requires employees to be based within 35 miles of our London office. You will be expected to work on-site two days a week, on Tuesday and Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on the other days.
