Key Responsibilities - Revenue Generation: Achieve / exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas through new business acquisition and upselling to existing clients. - Sales Cycle Management: Manage complex sales processes from prospecting, qualifying leads, and conducting demos to negotiating contracts and closing deals. - Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders, including C-level executives. - Strategic Planning: Create and implement territory plans and account strategies to identify growth opportunities within the commercial/mid-market domain. - Collaboration: Work with internal cross-functional teams (sales engineering, customer success, marketing) to ensure successful client onboarding and solution adoption. - Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of Kong's products, services, and the competitive landscape to deliver tailored solutions to prospects and customers.
