Senior Product Designer, Engagement

Discord has a highly engaged community of millions of daily active users who use the platform for many different reasons, but there’s one thing that nearly everyone does: play video games. Discord plays a uniquely important role in the future of gaming, and we are focused on making it easier and more fun for people to hang out before, during, and after playing games. Our mission on Engagement is to improve both the quality and depth of Discord’s core product value - which is tomake Discord the best place to hang out online and play games with friends. Millions of people use Discord every day to find belonging, create connections, and talk… and we are the center of this. Our work on Engagement focuses on improving and simplifying the foundations of the Discord experience at large. This could be streamlining how users customize their settings, to the way they express themselves over text, voice, and video. You’ll be part of a multi-faceted team flexing across surface area ownership, and acting as a guardian on our core foundations. As a product designer, you'll be involved with the full end-to-end product development process, from brainstorming to launch.
