Senior Manager, AI

Opportunity Overview: We're looking for a Senior Manager, AI who can lead and grow a high-performing engineering team with a strong product mindset. You'll own outcomes end-to-end - from the cohesive data layer and semantic foundations to the intelligent platform and agents serving health insurance plans covering over 15 million people. You'll partner closely with Product, Data Science, and Clinical Operations to build and scale capabilities that directly impact patient access and operational efficiency. This is a remote-first role that may require travel to Boston, MA for new hire onboarding and occasional in-person team meetings and company events. What you’ll do: Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and grow a distributed engineering team, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and a culture of mentorship and continuous improvement. Platform Strategy: Own the technical strategy and roadmap for Cohere's AI platforms, applications, and agents, partnering with Enterprise Architecture to deliver scalable, reliable, and observable systems.
