The Role We are hiring performance engineers to expand our ongoing investment in performance and efficiency. As a performance engineer, you will pair up with engineers to tackle all aspects of evaluating database performance under a wide spectrum of workloads and configurations. The work encompasses: measuring and defining performance baselines, guiding other teams, performing root cause analysis across the entire stack, performing competitive benchmarking, building new workloads, and more. You will have a large impact on shaping the performance of the database. This is a high-impact team, which owns database performance end-to-end. The team is situated on a critical path, connecting (all of) Engineering, Product and Marketing.
