The Role We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team! You Will Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, SOX compliance, and other ad hoc tasks Execute monthly accounting close activities and complete related deliverables on time Perform reconciliations and conduct actual vs. actual flux analysis with a strong attention to detail Coordinate and assist with external audit requests Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain effective internal controls Support the external reporting process and SEC filing deadlines Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of new accounting policies and procedures Support international compliance efforts, including statutory reporting, local GAAP requirements, and coordination with in-country advisors across Cockroach Labs' global entities Assist in monitoring and maintaining compliance with international tax obligations, transfer pricing documentation, and cross-...
