Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults — all online, covered by most insurance. We're clinician-led and minority-owned, and Virginia's autonomous practice environment means we're looking specifically for PMHNPs who can practice independently — no MD collaboration agreement required. You'll still be part of an integrated care team alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators. Autonomous doesn't mean alone. It means you bring the full scope — and we build around it. What this role looks like You'll carry a part-time caseload providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults via telehealth. Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is required — that's when families can actually show up.
